It still kind of early in the season. Pepper tend to start slow and then take off. You might have good results yet.

Started a new peat moss seed tray about two weeks ago and a white mold/fungus keeps appearing even after spinkling cinnamon on top. Any suggestions how to get rid of it?

Try spraying a mix of 1 cup of water and 1 tablespoon of 3% hydrogen peroxide on the soil

@moruga welder @MikeUSMC Thanks, I put a small fan next to my seed tray and actually sprayed just the 3% hydrogen peroxide on top and it seemed to wipe out all the white fungus

I have a big problem, I started noticing that a lot of my germinating pepper seeds were growing about a inch tall or even just sprouting but then they slowly die off. Today I found out that this is called damping off. Can anyone please suggest any methods to cure/prevent this problem instead of starting over. I have started a second separate seed tray too, but it looks like this is already happening again...

I have but I would use is sparingly . Clumps up the soil not allowing roots to breath properly .

Depends on what you want. Vermiculite holds a little water and is better for hot, dry climates. Perlite is the best for aerating and draining.
