cuisines Your Top 5 Cuisines!

Is hot sauce considered a cuisine? It's definitely a staple of my diet 😂
Jmho...but if the meal was broke out like an ingredients list, and the largest ingredient in the meal was hot sauce.....

Then yes to hot sauce as a cuisine! Way to go hard core on that, PSF!!!

I guess it would be:
Mexican: its all the same
Italian: its all the same
Western: buffalo and elk lots of stews
American: burgers, chili, wings, open face with gravy, cheap frozen crap that you deep fry, casseroles
Casseroles: hobo stew type of stuff. Use what you have and make it work just dont expect to ever have the same flavor again

Does this qualify?

“Southern” American. Fried meats, fish, poultry, plenty of pork fat and butter with the vegetables. You could also say “Soul food” interchangeably (according to my friends of color who eat my dishes..) Two categories in one I claim!
BBQ
Cajun/Creole
Chinese

What, no Gullah?

Now, I know shit-nothing about what I speak, lol. I just saw a show on PBS about it. Sounds delish.

Japanese: Chirashi-sushi.
Mexican: Cochinita pibil.
Peru: Seafood ceviche.
Indian: Chicken curry, pistachios and yogurt.
Indian:Samosa.
Mediterranean (Greece): Musaka.
Mediterranean (Turkey & Greece): Pilaf.
Mediterranean (Italy): Risotto.
Mediterranean (Morocco): Tajine.

...And a thousand more favorite foods that I want to eat all the time!

  • Southern/Soul
  • Cajun/Creole
  • Seafood Restaurant (Seafood sounds broad, but Seafood Restaurant is very specific; fresh seafood cooked various ways, fries, slaw, etc.
  • French (No one else, really?? My favorite for brunch foods and mussels frite!)
  • Thai (And I have been there, and caught my own fish to be cooked on Ko Phi Phi, and got to eat it with my toes in the sand. ALL of the curries!)
