The pods on this last one are pretty tasty. Heat is greater than a Jalapeno, but less than a Cayenne. My guess is aobut 10k Scovilles. The flavor is quite fruity. I will save seed from this one and grow it next year, as well. Any idea what this one is, Joe? Definietly an annuum.

These plants are still growing inside under lights and doing very well.
Also I was wondering if you could give me a little history about the Chocolate Hand Grenade. It has very strange shaped pods for a habanero.

Is this the F2 or F3 Hand Grenade? Anyway unfortunately it's not the desired pod shape Joe is after. Should look more like this,
I had two plants last season and one of those had pods just like yours had so there's a good chance the other two plants will produce the desired shape indeed

the grenade was harvested off my friends fiend 2 years ago and i just kept it going, my friend would not have been so kind, he would ave not planted it again ,i did and named it after what it looks like a WW2 pineapple hand grenade

your white habalokia is very knarly looking most are smother, it looks more like a peach bhut but there blunt enough to be the habalokiait looks as though the Wht 7 crossed with something or i goofed on your order cause they look like WHITE CHEIRO sorry bout that mate (either way)
the 7 pot white isn't a good pepper anyway and many on thp have agreed with me on this, i tried it and it didn't turn me on my batch was not very hot eitherthe only one that said they were any Good was Mellisa from California, actually the white cheiro is much tasted better, they make good sauce and a crazy prolific producer too
did you wanna try the white 7 pot again let me know, i will make sure you get the right ones this time

i have a feeling an odd seed may have found its way into the 7 pod white bag, i have about 6 plants growing from your 7 pod white seed, all but this one have the correct shaped pods.
the plant with the yellow pods was smaller, more shrubey. seems to be producing quite well, the pods are about 1" long by 1/4" fat, have a slightly bitter taste and pack a pretty good burn. does this sound like white cherio? or something else you have grown?
its a fair possibility that i had my white bullet hab seeds drying too close to the white 7 pot and maybe some got on the white 7 pot plate so it dosnt sound like the white cheiro because of three conclusions i have come to
#1 i did not grow the white cheiro the year i grew and dried the 7 pot white
#2 the pods are too small
# 3 white cheiro is shrubby but its not a small compact plant
so i would say its a WHITE BULLET HABANERO
not so bad however you will like the flavor of them and actually they taste better than the white 7 pot

I have read that the Royal Black ripens to red. The pods are green, but turn black where the sun hits them. Some of the pods on this plant have been there for a couple of months without a hint of color change. Do yours ripen to red? Do you recall how long it took them to ripen? The plant is about 3 1/2 feet tall. Thanks!
