No, the only time they get wet is when it rains. I has been raining for the past 3 days now. I did end up clipping the leaves and now am hopping it will turn out fine.

So I had a little aphid infestation a week or so ago and killed them but now some leaves are coming out damaged. Could this be just an after affect or do I have another problem to be worried about?          

Right now I washed them off with soapy water. Am hoping this will be the end of it but I will keep an eye on the other plants.
