Welcome Sandy, wild varieties are certainly a challenge. GA3, Gibberellin, is a plant growth hormone. People use various concentrations to help with germination and plant growth. You have to measure carefully, it's a bit of a scientific process. I believe you use salt petre for stump removal...

Another big thanks to Chiltepin, Jim, for sharing some Lanceolatum seeds with me. I was struggling getting some to germinate for 3+ months. I certainly appreciate his friendship and generosity, they are up, I'm very excited!  

If anyone is looking for some dehydrated pods, Chris Phillips is auctioning some off on THE CHILLILAB, a closed group on Facebook. The pods look wonderful. The auction will run till Wed. March 23rd, closing at 10 p.m. Wish I could just post a link for everyone but my computer skills are minimal...
