    Welcome Sandy, wild varieties are certainly a challenge. GA3, Gibberellin, is a plant growth hormone. People use various concentrations to help with germination and plant growth. You have to measure carefully, it's a bit of a scientific process. I believe you use salt petre for stump removal...
