Was "bad" and didn't clean out the pots at the end of the season last year, so went to clean them in prep for the new arrivals. Turned out a ton of red wigglers made there homes in them. Whoot!

Sitting on the couch, kind of numb. Knowing I should be in bed, but too beat to move. It's like that sometimes after a session with my coach. I tell him he can kill m, just don't drown me. Almost accomplished the latter tonight. Good times...
Just went to the sushi place and found they infused vinegar with the dried Trin Scorps and Moruga Scorps that I gave them, and they're serving it on today's special rolls.
Tomorrow I will challenge Mr. I-trained-with-the-Navy-Seals to a footrace. Note he's 20+ years younger than I am, but he will end with the same puzzled look on his face as when we raced swimming. Ha!
Friend's funeral today. Didn't help that many of us wanted to slap the preacher and tell him to stop talking. Seriously, if the preacher didn't know the deceased or fam, invite people up to talk instead of droning on about unrelated stuff. What a disservice.... Ok, off my soap box now...

Came home tonight to the smell of Thai peanut sauce, so was surprised to find a pot of chile on the stove. Yes, Thai peanut sauce went into the chile. I haven't decided if I like it or not yet - my mind is still rather confused about the whole thing...
If you go to Columbus, OH, go to North Market. Met my daughter there yesterday for a girls' day. CAJohn has a shop there we always go to, and there's a great spice shop, as well. Great place to get lunch, but stay inside. We crossed the street to try what looked like a Mexican place, and all we really got was Mex-style bar food. Meh.

Entered my first swim meet in more than 30 years today. Brought home a 2nd place ribbon and a 1st place medal. Good times!
