Hirts = you got bent over. Nothing I have bought from Hirts has been what it's supposed to be, They are the most worthless plant/seed company I know of...

These where supposed to be golden cayenne's, after sharing them at work they have been nicknamed "Daemon Turds" due to there intense heat and brown color. I'd rate the heat up there with a habenero with a good 20 - 30 min burn, biggest pods are about 10" long. Here's a couple pics of the last...

They have started to turn, they are coming out brown.Not sure what they are but they are 10X hotter than any cayenne I have ever had :shocked:

That makes sense, golden cayenne's where right next to the cowhorn's. They could have gotten mixed somewhere along the way.

2nd plant in my garden I am doubting, this is supposed to be a golden cayenne. Looks ginormous for a cayenne to me, have a normal cayenne in my hand for reference.

They are producing many fruit, and are pretty tasty also. I have used the refund from Hirts to purchase some chocolate trinidad scorpion seed's from JungleRain, can't wait till they come in the mail. Will be nice to grow some real scorpion peppers..

I got mine from http://myworld.ebay.com/hirtsgardens , Stay away from these guys.

Unfortunatly I found Hirts before I found this forum, I ordered 3 Butch T's from them and the best I can say about them is they where alive. I would NOT recomend Hirts to anyone, below is a pic of a Hirts Butch T :doh:
