  • Been a busy day. Split the Kubota today to get the transmission out to fix and changed the brakes on the focus. VERY nice weather in the forecast for next week and 1/2...we might just actually get a garden in :)
Well last night, more tornado warnings, so we laid the plants down again. After it cleared and had blue sky, we picked them all back up. A few hours later, more storms came through so we laid them down again. Screw it..grow horizontal damn it. I am tired of picking them up :)

I think I heard on the news that there was 81 tornadoes that touched down in various parts of the US yesterday.

I feel all your pain.....Mizzou is having crap weather right along with ya. Glad to hear all ok.
Well I think our 8 year old boy might be our chilihead. Had a decent size piece of a Red Scorpion Tongue. Lit him up pretty well but he handled it even better. No bread and no milk.
Thanks bro, i haven't been on facebook in like forever. Maybe i should check it out lol
I'll bet nobody can guess the weather forecast for today....

On a different note...can you places readjust the 3rd book in from the right on the bookshelf. Someone moved it and it is messing with the camera view out the window for monitoring. lol

Don't worry, we will definately be there. I haven't sent in our papers because I am hoping to win this final round of the I Love It Spicy Feast Challenge. It's down to me and Clement! If I do not win the final round, I'll send in my registration, and if I do win, it's automatic. But we will be there!

Yeah, spring is off to a slow start here too. We've had frost 5 days this past week. It's supposed to warm up by the weekend though ...

Welcome to the Midwest! As they say around here, "if you don't like the weather, wait a minute."
All the rain must have been a sign not to plant yet. If plants were in garden they would have been destroyed last night. 40 mph winds

I hate the heat here during the summer, but your weather back east sucks
I have got to find a better way to bottom water once these are in individual pots. Just spent 4 hours watering and still have about 40 to go :(

You're going to go broke using those nutrients all year long. You might want to try making compost tea or other cheaper alternatives

We are getting pummeled here in Pennsylvania. Very severe thunderstorms. Good thing I didn't plant out yet. It would have been a total loss!
