The reason I posted it in the Pepper Id section was so it was visited by more people and I thought everyone would appreciate the humor in the "identify the pepper". It will be lost in this section since it's not about the music, but the "peppers" . Oh Well.. I tried.  

Hi All Anyone paying attention to the peppers.  This is one of the Best Albums from Art Pepper and the Cover is even better. I just added last week to my Vinyl collection 

Ok so I guess this is an orange  habanero.  One ripened to a nice orange color and shaped perfectly. I also found a stash from last year of seeds labeled habanero. So I must of germinated one a year ago and just lost track. Thank you for the help 

I let my plants grow unimpeded.  So a few have gotten real bushy. If I used Tomato cages and Tulle that would not happen. Obviously it works since your plants are proof.  I get the idea of a tube. As the plant grows the tube expands.  I'm going to start fresh next year with Habanero's and ghost...

Hi Doesn't this stunt growth? I see you use tomato cages also.  Or, is compacting a better way to grow more pods? Thank you

This is my growing area.. The 4 Thia Plants were from seeds. The rest started out small finds at local lumber yard and Orchard Supply Hardware.

I was hoping that the ripe pepper would change color. It just got more dimpled.   I gave it to one of my employees yesterday . My official heat tester

Thank you.. My experience has shown me that as the hotter varieties grow they change shape, look and color.   The tiny tail is what I was looking at

I've lurked for months and finally joined. I am far from an expert on pepper growing and types.  I've been lucky to have a climate and growing location that is very favorable to peppers.   I posted , asking for help with a few mysteries and am totally disappointed that the experts here have not...

I'm new here and far from an expert. However your second picture matches what 2 of my Thai Chile Plants have done for 4 years. Green-Black-Red.  Black is hot.  Red adds some sweetness to the taste.  I put mine at Habanero  heat and above.  Mike M
