off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's 32F (0c) on its way down to 24F (-4c). Heavy wet snow and high winds. We got a shade under 5" overnight with a forecast of an additional 2-4" before noon. After that, the temperature gradually drops (single digits for highs by the end of the week). Office work this morning and then heading outside to clear the driveway pad and walkways. I've also got a big pot of chili going .... perfect meal for a day like today. Be safe and be good.
 
Good morning. It's overcast, foggy, raining and 36F, on its way to 51F. Calling for 1-3" of rain. Flash Flood Watch in effect. Guess there's no washing the car today, lol. All that cold out y'alls way doesn't sound fun. Hope it doesn't come this way. Michigan is King. Congrats to them and their fans. Oh, and bye-bye Ron Rivera. I wish you well. NEXT! And it's bloody freezing cold out there, luckily I don't plan to go "out there" today with it's -4C - brrrrrrrrrrr
It's a snuggle up and keep warm with a good book day, although I did have the flutter of a "make pepper plan" through my head on waking up.
Too early for that nonsense.

Oh yeah the brakes on my car went yesterday, anyone got something to tell me? It's booked in the garage for Monday so I'm car-less :cry:

Brakes just slow you down. Actually have a friend that drinks brake fluid, Im worried but he swears he can stop anytime. Yesterday was ok until I forgot to apply my parking brake, everything just went downhill after that. Ok no more jokes, I had one more about time travel but you guys didnt like that one.

So we didnt get much bad weather last evening. Not positive whats going on besides Im thinking about maybe going up to Guitar Center and buying a acoustic I have my eye on. We shall see, Hope everyone has a great day. Good morning.
 
Good morning. It's cloudy and 40F, on its way to 44F with a Reel Feel of 34F. We ended up with 2" of rain yesterday. Seemed like more. Rained ALL day. Gonna be chilly today, and I think we have a few errands to run today. Bummer. After that, not sure what's on the agenda. Might be a chill day. Anybody heard from Catherine? She hasn't posted here in a week or so. Hope all is well. Also hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday geez, wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there and bundle up!

Good morning. It's 19F (-7C) on its way to 40F (4C). Sunny and chilly. We got around 7" of snow in total. The howling winds have stopped. Today is going to be one of those "snow blind" days with the bright sun. I got the driveway pad and walkways shoveled and took the big truck out to the road a few times to smash the snow down. The snowplow hasn't made it to our country gravel road yet. I couldn't use the snow blower yesterday as the snow was way too wet. Going to head outside in a bit to survey the situation and figure what we're going to do to prep for the Arctic blast that we're supposed to get this weekend. Pot-roast this evening. DR ... I have not heard from Catherine and was wondering the same. Be safe and be good.
 
Been wondering about Catherine also, hope everything is OK. Have to mow one yard today, its a big one. Have a few errands also. Then Ill be playing my new guitar, went ahead and bought it. A buddy talked me into it,lol. Its by far the nicest acoustic Ive every played. Larrivee hand made in Canada with all real wood Im really happy with it. Have a great day and good morning.
 
Good morning. It's 21F on its way to 37F. It should be a nice day. Not looking forward to Sunday though .... the high will be ~1F and the low -9F. That's REALLY cold for here. Need to start all the vehicles today and move some more firewood to the front porch. Nothing much else planned. Be safe and be good.

Been another bitingly cold day but with sunshine which makes a huge difference.
Not much done today although I've just had a lovely walk and played with a neighbours' dog :D

Rain this morning and light showers throughout the day. 59 on its way to 79. Guess we are supposed to have freezing temps next week. I know some of yall have some deep storms coming, be safe. We have a few errands to run and hopefully can get a decent walk in dodging rain. Have great day and good morning.
 
Good morning. There's a heavy frost out there, but it's sunny and 22F, on its way to 46F. Frost will be gone in no time. The wind is supposed to start blowing pretty good today. That should make things nice and brisk. With all that deep cold heading here next week, I did indeed climb around on the house yesterday and took the Christmas lights down. Done for another year. Need to run some errands today. Not sure what's up after that. Hope everybody has a fantastic Friday. Be safe out there and bundle up.
 
Good morning. It's 15F (-9c) on its way to 10F (-12c). Frigid with light snow. Just got back from taking my grandson to school. They've closed all the schools to the north of us. The next (3) days have forecasted highs of 6, 1 and 6. Got plenty of firewood. Should be OK. Might run some errands in a bit. Not much else is going on. Open-face roast beef sandwiches later on.
