off-topic Good Mornin' Thread - For those that get up really early and post

Good morning. It's sunny and 62F, on its way to 83F. Calling for sunny with occasional clouds. Another pretty day. Need to do some mowing today. Might get down to the weed patch to see if it needs watering. Something on the grill tonight, maybe? Hope everybody has a marvelous Monday. Be safe out there, while I enjoy what's left of this cold front. :D

Good morning. It's cloudy and 65F, on its way to 81F. Calling for on-and-off drizzle this morning, then mostly cloudy this afternoon. Not as pretty as yesterday, but it still should be an ok day. Plus, it's still nice and cool, especially for August. Didn't get much done yesterday, so decided to go to Margarita Monday last night, ha. Today, not sure what I can do outside because of the weather, but that's where I plan to be. Pizza tonight. Hope everybody has a terrific Tuesday. Be safe out there, and enjoy your day.

Good morning. It's 71F on its way to 91F. The temperature is slowly creeping back up. Sunny and hot. Mowing today. My wife is processing tomatoes. Also, getting fiber installed this afternoon. Our rural location was determined to be an underserved area for internet and the state received funding from the Feds to put it in. Nothing much else is going on. Grilling something this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. 62-96F, think I’m liking the 80’s more and more. CG watering this AM, coffee group then more of the same. I’ll check out the beets and cukes, but nothing like everyone’s harvests. I don’t see many green tomatoes even appearing on the plants, it’s just a different year.

Enjoy your day, don’t work too hard, keep comfortable.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 61F, on its way to 74F. Calling for mostly cloudy with a passing shower. We'll have to see how that turns out. Did chicken maintenance yesterday. Peaches are getting ripe, so I thought I'd try to stop the tree rats from stealing ALL of them, like the last two years. What I ended up doing, with netting and row cover, is almost comical. Hey, better than nothing! Might try to head down to the weed patch formerly known as the garden. Haven't seen it in almost two weeks. 😳 Hope everybody has a wonderful Wednesday. Be safe out there while I still get to enjoy this cool weather, lol.

Good morning. It's 73F on its way to 92F. Hazy sunshine and breezy. Mowed and trimmed yesterday. The fiber install crew got started yesterday. Not much is going on today. I'm going to head to the meat market sometime this morning. Probably futz around the remainder of the day. Pizza this evening. @ Sic: truck gear slipping does not sound good. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's cloudy and 67F, on its way to 78F. Calling for clouds with breaks of sun; smoke from CN wildfires can reduce air quality. Went down and attacked the weeds in the garden. Made some progress, but still more to do. Need to mow the hill today, then back to weed attack. @sic, I agree with Harry re the slipping gears. Hope you're right and it's something simple. Hope everybody has a terrific Thursday. Be save out there and enjoy your day.

Good morning. 70-99F, smoky with a slight scent of pesticides (?). It just smells icky like someone had sprayed too much of whatever. Only 1 appt. This afternoon so we may check out the CG for what it has to offer before the heat sets in. Sic, be careful driving.
Have a great Thursday. Stay hydrated in the heat, enjoy a cool iced tea or lemonade.

So work trucked got fixed for free, guess it was something simple? But that's twice in 3 weeks it's been in the shop and it's a few times every year at this point. I mentioned i got a 2016 truck a couple weeks ago but I decided considering this maybe the last truck I ever buy I wanted something nicer so with yesterdays adventure and missing work because I didn't have a truck figured it was time to bite the bullet. I'm definitely going to keep pounding my 2000 ford into the ground until she blows but I officially have a back up. After 21 years in the same truck I paid 4000 dollars for which at the time I had to borrow that from parents, lol. I now have sitting in my barn a 2025 Ford f150stx. It was a demo with 1000 miles on it causing a 13,000 dollar discount. We are very happy, grateful and blessed. Now it's time to go jump into my old work truck and mow. Have a wonderful day and good morning.

Good morning. It's 74F on its way to 95F. RF 105. Partly sunny, windy and very warm. @ Sic: that new truck sure looks pretty .... very nice. No new trucks here, though I'd love to have one. My old Silverado (200K miles) and my old F150 (150K miles) are still running. Now that I'm retired, it doesn't seem like I put too many miles/year on either. Didn't make the run to the meat market yesterday. I'm going to do that this morning then I'm going to futz this afternoon. Got a couple of small jobs (the kind that turn big 😀) that the boss asked me to do. I'm going to put those off as long as I can. Beverages and grilling some pork chops this evening. Be safe and be good.

Good morning. It's cloudy, foggy, and 63F, on its way to 81F. Calling for the fog to lift, then some sun. Managed to mow the hill yesterday. All the heavy rains last month washed out the road down to the garden...again. Spent the afternoon scooping, dumping, shoveling runoff gravel back into the gully it came from. Always fun 🙃. Not sure what's on today's agenda. Maybe some more garden weeds. @Sic - nice ride! Bet you still had sticker shock, even after that nice discount. Ain't nothing cheap anymore. Hope everybody has a freaky good Friday. Be safe out there while I continue to enjoy this beautiful, cool weather! :D

Good morning. 68-96F, cloudy for now. CG watering, coffee group, baby layette assembly then deliver them to distribution place. Yesterday I picked a bucket of beets, so I’m hoping to pickle them (and try to use the canner) tomorrow. Too hot today.
Very nice truck, Sic. Something to show off!
Have a wonderful Friday. Shoo that smoke away, and enjoy the day.
