They have a tinge of Habanero/savina taste from the cross that made them red.
Taking a long weekend with the boys. If you need me text or email through the site. Otherwise have a great weekend. BTW my first bhut is starting to change colors on it's pimply bhut.

I'm also taking a long w/e to visit my daughter - good times!
Woohoo. One of the 2 Fatalii's that has the correct phenotype has a yellowing pod. If the other plant does that I will be happy. The one with the yellowing pod has about 60-70 peppers on it YAAAAAA!!!!
Couldn't find a thread to add this to. Made tomato soup and grilled cheese tonight. Grabbed my old hot sauce making spoon(got a new commercial grade one). The old wooden spoon really spiced up the soup. My kids accused me of putting hot sauce in it. lol. Was good soup and in the end they all liked it. I now have a Fire Spoon and must respect the power of the spoon.
Either the smell of Yellow 7Pods cooking last night or last night's rain was full of steroids. I swear the plants grew 3-4 inches over night. Pics coming tonight after I wake up.
ok 4 of the 14 Fatalii's in the Fatalii bed have given red pods. After researching the phenoype I found 2 plants that look like they will be yellow. Still green bhut the shape and size is right and not habby thick.........HotPooper You will be getting some of the reds to try :D

Still green but have the bhut shape as I was told they should and the pics I have found online show that too.

I agree about the yellow. Getting mostly reds by the looks of it. Just the 5 plants that have SHOWN red will yield over 400 peppers if no more set this season.
"Sure I can design that, no problem" ...2 weeks later "I don't really feel like doing it, I am so busy."....14yrs. old, no job yet, and it's summer. Busy??????
    Fatalii's changing to red??? Really????

2 of 14 have had Red pods. 12 more chance of yellow and not all seeds from the same pod *crosses fingers*

Fataliis go from green to yellow, unless they are red fataliis, which go from green to red. Not an in-between stage. That will be determined by the genetics of the plant, not individual pods.
Ok off to bed but I have 2 days worth of posts and pics just from this morning. Cross IDed and flavorful and isolated now, lost big loaded Fatalii. Time for a drink and sleep grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

ok Too tired still. posting will occur tomorrow unless something else comes up.
Always make sure the valves not needed on the 4 way selector are turned off. Needed the hose in back for spraying something down and also apparently watered the Fatalii bed up front for 30 minutes via sprinkler at 4:45 under bright sun. Burnt leaves to come.
