    I ordered seeds from organic pepper seeds .com last year and guess what they are not what they are supposed to be my reaper is well I dont know what it is it's a small tear drop looking pepper any ideas to what it could be ?

    I suggest keeping at least 6 growth nodes. At least. I did that one year but decided I won't cut back that far again. It just takes the plants longer to grow back, the more you cut them back.

    And yeah - repot with fresh soil first to help eliminate eggs and larvae that may be hiding out there.

    you can turn them to bonsai plant too, or u can put 3 to 4 plants with the same species in the same pots to save space.

    I ordered a mixed sampler of fresh peppers from bakerspeppers two months ago I sent email after email just wanting to here something about my order finally got a rude email three weeks latter at that time all I wanted was my money back I did not want them I did not get a refund what I got was 17 scorpions that I did not order ill never do bisness with them again

    You can never go wrong asking the community, Tex. Wish I'd known you before this happened to you. There are a number of people on here who have a good reason for having an excellent reputation (as you've apparently already seen with SadisticPeppers/Sicman). Try not to let one bad experience leave a bad taste in your mouth.

    Agreed WickedMike. This biz is as much about karma as it is about growing peppers. Trying to do right by the customer is equally as important is growing some damn hot peppers :)

    I got a package from sadisticpeppers I got a ounce of yellow moruga powder that is awesome and a box stuffed full of mourgas I at one that was the size of a penny and it tore me a new one:) great peppers won't go know where eles

    Well, at least you're in good company, Tex! Someone messaged me on Facebook recently who had an identical experience to yourself, and described how the only way he was able to get a refund from Baker's was to post screencaptures onto Baker's Facebook page of the emails he sent. He got his refund quite promptly from Baker's, only to have his post promptly deleted 5 minutes after the refund was issued, as if it never happened! The gentleman still had the screencaptures,...

    Got a pic. Sounds like blossom end rot. Either from not enough calcium, or calcium being locked out due to several reasons.

    If it is BER and your Ca levels are OK, then all you have to do is water more consistently.

    I have ants in the ground around my plants there is no mound. I dont want to use pesticides I have pods ripening everyday dont know what to do

    Against fire ants (which will come in dry times to our watered containers and plants), try teas of citrus peelings and compost with molasses. Other ant species we welcome as antagonists of fire ants.

    It totally depends on your growing conditions. We've had a very cold, wet summer here, and all my plants have been very slow to produce. I usually have ripe annuums starting in July, but I didn't even have those until about a week ago. Some of the baccatuums are just now starting to turn color, but the chinenses are way behind. I am probably going to have to bring a lot more plants inside than planned. I always have to bring in the pubescens, so that's a given, regardless.
