    Jeff, do you have the XXX head or combo? Do you run the stock 6L6s or throw in some EL34s? I've known a lot of folks who preferred the EL34s in the XXX.

    I have the 212 and it's all stock. I'll experiment with tubes when these blow, but for now, I'm happy with the sounds I can get.

    I gave bhuts and reapers to the 64 year old owner to try and she didn't fire me! She has pretty much given me free range over the kitchen, so I am sure she will give me free ranger over the bar as well.

    Friend of the family. Hispanic lady, old school authentic Mexican cook, and boy, oh, boy, can she throw down in the kitchen! It is taking some serious will power not to destroy the entire gallon ziplock bag of these tamales.

    Awesome folks! She is very giving and is always hooking me up with fine grinds. Her husband doesn't speak a word of English, but he is a heck of a nice guy and I was the only person to every impress him with with a pepper. I gave him some douglahs, morguas, reapers and bhuts and I didn't need to speak Spanish to know he appreciated the heck out them. I tried in broken Spanish to explain to him how hot they were.

    ... hassle than simply plugging into a tuner and tuning to a specific note. Also, not sure where you got the assumption I was only talking about lead playing. In fact, not that it matter one bit, I am more interested in the rhythm aspect of music.

    Ride the Lightning was tuned with a piano that was out of tune from what I have heard.
    Dimebag did it intentionally so that no one sounded like he did, and I don't know about Machinehead, they generally sound in tune.

    Jeff, Machine Head generally tunes to drop B, tuned 40 cents sharp. That is actually what initially made me post this. I was monkeying around with "Locust" and had to tweak my tuning a bit for it.

    I haven't made a YouTube video in a while. Last one I made was a response to some trolls who said I couldn't eat a ghost chile and not turn into a whining little baby. Challenge accepted and completed. ;)

    Good news! Going to see Machine Head in Billings on the 5th of March. And I have a date! My 58 year old mother! Hahaha! I don't think she knows what she signed up for!

    I saw them in 2013 with Mastodon. Been a fan since. She has never been to a metal concert. Quite a bit different than the Trace Adkins or Blue Oyster Cult concerts she has been to. I cant wait to see her reaction to the pit
