    Hello from NC

I followed the instructions pretty close. I took them outside for like an hour or two of sun each day and fed them some fish fertilizer on about day 4. After 8 days i potted them up and they are in a spot in my yard that gets about 5-6 hours of direct sunlight each day. not sure if this is...

    seeds Help seperating seedlings

Hey guys. I was hoping to kick this thread back into gear for a moment. I basically wanted to see the difference between germinating in Jiffy pellets and germinating in seed potting mix. I didnt have much to work with so i figured i would just throw a bunch of seeds into this mushroom...

hot-sauce CaJohn's Trinidad Moruga Scorpion Hot Sauce

Probably just didn't matter to add that it was moruga until the record. Once it had name brand recognition it was worth specifying. I bet they will add moruga to the bottle at some point as well. I just tried the moruga madness from CaJohns and it was wild! I can't wait to try and make my own

    Bigpapapepper's first time grow

Thanks for the advice! This is my first grow so I am just using window sunlight for the seedlings. Sorry I'm too new to know the terms, does leggy mean that the stem is long and I should add more dirt? I can't wait to try a pod! I just had the moruga madness and it was out of control. The...

    Bigpapapepper's first time grow

Thanks for the tip roper! I will go ahead and trim the tomatoes. The two cherry tomato plants are going like crazy compared to the others! I just tried the CaJohns Trinidad hot sauce and it is by far the spiciest thing I have ever had. I'm gonna wait to cool down and then try the moruga madness!

    Bigpapapepper's first time grow

PapaBill thanks so much for the watering tip! it is real easy to water them by just letting them soak it up. I have been watering individually like a dummy. They really like it too as they have already shot up a great deal! I am trying to prepare myself for the torture after i grow all the...

    Bigpapapepper's first time grow

Thanks! Here is the Blue African Basil. The guy said its not as much for cooking as it is for looks but I think it tastes great. Apparently it will grow pretty big. I got it at the same herb fair that I visited Smoking J's Fiery Foods farm. Here it is before planting and pruning. It still...

harvesting Seeds Harvested from grocery store peppers

Thanks for the info Greg! I find it difficult to keep the pellets at good moisture levels even inside the mini-greenhouse with heat mat underneath. The seedlings on the edges of the house get the most moisture and seem to germinate faster. I am sure by next year i will get the watering down.
