There was a big diff in taste between the ripe and unripe pods for me. It has no heat when unripe and only a bit when it is ripe. I enjoyed the flavor of the pod but it wasnt my favorite.

I would pull it off now. If it started to lighten up that means that it is starting to ripen. I had the same plant last year and as soon as the pods started to turn lighter (yellow) I would pull them and let em ripen off the plant. That way the plant could devote more energy to producing more...

Looking good Chris. Bubba Pepper LOL. My 2 yr old daughter calls my plants baby peppers. When I move them in or out of the house she comes running yelling "baby peppers" has to help me carry one or two.

Just cut up about 5 Pablano peppers lastnight and saved the seeds. If you want any all you will need is a SASBE. Shoot me a PM

Thanks We are getting the warmth now high tomorrow is 80 but then cold for the weekend and back into the 70's ofr highs and 50's for lows next week. As long as those temps hold out until the following weekend I will be planting out then. :pray:

Couldnt agree more. I grew green beans last year and plant on doing the same this year. I had about 3 large freezer bags full. One of the few veggies all the kids like. After seeing your pic I had to stop and get some at the store as we ran out long ago. LOL.
