    Gassy's 2012/2013 Glog thingy

That really stinks losing that much. But it beats having bloody Possums. I'm only growing small varieties tomatoes because fruit fly always seem to ruin bigger tomatoes. I'm sure I will end up with fruit fly problems but hopefully not to Febuary. I may have to bag my pods like you have.

How r ur peppers going in Perth west oz?

I usually don't wash away old soil, because I think it is just easier to transplant and the plant will have less transplant shock. But then my seedling mix normally just falls apart, and I've found that the ones that didn't fall part are now having issues because the seedling mix is too sandy...

Ways to get your tolerence up?

I went off eating chilli for afew years. When I restarted I decided just to buy some birdseye/thai peppers, and eat 1 everyday whole. First one I bit into I spat it back out lol, I ended up just eating a pod bit by bit til I ate the whole pod. After 2 weeks my resistance had increased to the...

How r ur peppers going in Perth west oz?

From Lavatungs responce I would say he isn't using ferts at all. Does that include the likes of Seasol? Seasol can make a big difference to how much sun your plant can handle. (Wrote this before your last post) Your leaves seem to be yellow and brown around the edges too. Not sure that is over...

How r ur peppers going in Perth west oz?

I'm still new to growing and I've not gone through pods dropping off of super hots (need to have pods inorder for them to drop lol). My understanding is plants, drop pods to reserve their energy, so that the plant survives. So if it is too hot, the plant is getting too much sun is one example...

How r ur peppers going in Perth west oz?

I try to water my plants once the sun is off them. My plants in the sun to about 2PM to 3PM. I think pots could over heat easy once you start getting up to 40c.

How r ur peppers going in Perth west oz?

My plants had deformed and crinkled leaves about a month ago. Some were also pale green. I'm not sure if it was thrips, or a defiency, some were root bound. They recovered on their own once the weather warmed up. My opinion is that you should only water chilli plants when their leaves wilt...

I need some opinions regarding cell phones

I hate phones, and for that reason I could gladly go without one. But they do have their good points. Like when your car breaks down in the middle of nowhere. Or in cases of an emeregency. Honestly I use my phone more for surfing the internet then phone calls. I ended up getting a samsung galaxy...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

This morning we had some cloud cover, I managed to get some gardening in before it cleared. I got myself stuck in the sun moving my plants about while mowing and pulling out weeds around my pots. Thinking about getting concrete blocks from bunnings and laying them down to sit my pots on...

I think it is worth pointing out that the phone maybe stollen, and handling into police may help link this ahole to other crimes.

Don't worry your not alone, I had some thai chilli the other day that was hotter then I could handle, and I'm about to start eating Bih jolokia's. :mouthonfire: I think my tolerance has gone down over the winter. Well I think the best solution to this problem is jump in head first. I have a...
