    Northen NJ peppers are growing

Habs are still looking ravaged but they are growing and some are showing signs of making some flower buds so who knows. I can buy habs at the market so no biggie but it would be nice to have some of my own. I have learned a lot this year so next year should be better, weather permitting.

You guys down south and in Oz are lucky when it comes to pepper growing... Anyhoo, here is my India Byadagi grown from seeds in a bag of dried peppers bought from the Indian market. These are not that hot but very tasty. I have other byadagi plants but this one is the best one. You can see...

Just had a wicked hail thunderstorm

Habs looking gnarly & sickly - frikkin aphids - constant battle The habs are the bushy gnarly ones, some bhuts and 7 pots and scorpions in these shots - the smallish ones - planted later. Yellowing leaves on some of the Sanam and super hots are scaring me.

I'll try to get some pics. My tallest plant is an Indian Byadagi chili grown from seeds in a bag of dried chilis that I got from an Indian market. The dried chilis are added to curry for flavor. (I also fry the dried ones in oil and salt them after - great snack) I am also growing hotter...

Just had a wicked hail thunderstorm

roll through in New Jersey. Wow. My plants survived, but they look waterlogged. Lots of flowers but so far only the cherry hots have some small peppers growing, that I can tell. The habs are just doing awful and the super hots are still small but I planted them late.

Some of my regular hots are flowering and podding

No pics yet. Some of my Byadagi and Sanam, and cherry hots are flowering. One plants has two small peppers growing. It might be a cherry hot but I am not sure as that one is not labeled. The leaves though look like a cherry hot. The super hots are growing but I planted them late so I am not...

Right now I'm thinking this is my last year

I can't seem to get rid of mine either. I've use almost everything. Soap/oil/water spray, that diatomaceous earth stuff that I can't spell and have to look it up every time I want to write the dam name - nothing gets rid of them. They keep coming back. Don't ladybugs scatter and fly away...

Rain, cold, damp - habs and superhots dying

Uploaded the pics several hours ago, this morning. Figured it got lost in the mix, and was headed down fast. What, the occasional bump isn't welcome here? I am in other forums where they do that all the time, for no reason at all. :P So, what do you think of my dying super hots?? :?:
