hot-sauce Patak's "Hot & Spicy" Phal Curry Sauce

I'm actually starting to wonder if this was a bad batch, and some of the ingredients had been missed out (i.e. pretty much anything with heat).

hot-sauce Patak's "Hot & Spicy" Phal Curry Sauce

This sauce is part of a fairly new "Hot & Spicy" range by Patak's, and it's available at Morrison's in the UK. Patak's description of this curry sauce is "Not for the faint-hearted, this cooking sauce is our hottest cooking sauce yet! So if you are in the mood for a delicious tomato based curry...

hot-sauce Sharwood's Bhut Jolokia Curry Sauce

:-) I'm mumbling quite a bit on the video - I think my tongue must have been numb. Tried another curry tonight with the same sauce, and it's hot enough for me. Most people on this forum, however, would likely wonder where the Bhut Jolokia went. I did think it had a nice flavour to it. It's...

hot-sauce Sharwood's Bhut Jolokia Curry Sauce

It's ok, I can't make out what I'm saying at some points in the video :) This sauce isn't really that hot - I took some into work and everyone tasted it. They liked the taste, and thought it was quite hot, but nobody was rushing for a drink to take the heat away.

hot-sauce Sharwood's Bhut Jolokia Curry Sauce

Sharwood's have brought out a limited edition curry sauce in the UK, made with bhut jolokia. I tried it yesterday, and although it was hot, it wasn't as hot as I expected. They also sell a Goan Vindaloo sauce, which I think is nearly as hot. Quite a nice taste, though. And I guess, for a...

Dorset Nova Strain World Wide Environmental Evaluation Thread

Planted some of Nova's seeds last year, but Winter was coming and I didn't manage to get any going. Not much sun in Scotland during Winter. However, I kept some seeds and planted them this Spring - success! I ended up with three plants (and gave one to a colleague at work). Some small...

    What is causing this?

Glad to hear that this is normal - I was worrying that it was something nasty which would spread to the rest of my plants. The leaves are reasonably big, but those photos are in close up so they appear a lot bigger than they really are. Also, my plants don't go outside - they are in pots on...

    What is causing this?

OK, this is my first year growing chillis, and it's all going pretty well. However, I've got big problems with two of my plants - both Lanterns. The two plants are in separate rooms, and the other plants on the same windowsills are unaffected. All the plants are watered around the same and...

    First Nagas

They look fantastic - don't know if I'd dare to taste one  They look massive as well.

That's the tree felling vid - great video. My little flower was quite a surprise - the plant it's on is tiny, and it has quite a few buds forming. Got up one morning and we had this flower, which actually looks massive on the plant.

I think it's a great camera - I think the only difference between the 730 and the 630 is the number of megapixels. Like you said earlier, it's also great for making videos. To go off-topic, this is what I use it mostly for: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=20BsN1OEBa4&feature=channel_page

Thought I'd have a go. This is a Hungarian Hot Wax taken with a Samsung S730.

    Foxprorawks' 2009 Pictures

It does look just like Jabba  The Apaches have come on great - they grew really fast and have produced a fair amount of flowers and pods so far. It's all happened in a very short period of time. The Apache in the picture above looked like this on the 4th April this year: My flat is...

Well, I repotted the Apache's last night into bigger pots. I had a look at them this morning and noticed this: That's the first of my chillis to change colour. When is the best time to harvest these? Is it best to wait until they are red?

    Hello From Scotland

He he, yes I travel about the internet a fair bit. The few chilli forums I've visited are great - there's certainly plenty of help available, and everyone's really friendly. However, my real passion is this: http://www.bebo.com/scottish-rocks

I've just signed up here, but I've been reading this forum (and a couple of others) for a few months. It's a great resource. However, growing chillis is proving to be addictive ;)

Hello - fancy meeting you here :) The Apaches grew quite fast for me, so it shouldn't be long until yours are all grown up.

I might do that this weekend. I have two of those, both that size. The other one has less pods, and quite a lot of the buds are dropping off. Is this a sign it should be re-potted?
