Good morning. 62-82F, comfortable for now. We had a late very brief shower last night so the garden should be prime for weeding, deadheading, cleaning. And then the dentist. Have a fun day close to the end of working hard in the yard and garden. It’s been a challenge - Take time for yourself...

Good morning. 60-90F, not as hot as the Midwest and South, and very dry. CG to plant a few iris, water, and whatever. We have red noodle beans to freeze, toms also. Just no time to relax (!). Most of my toms are still green. Have a blessed day. Stay cool and hydrated.

Good morning. Looks like a nice day to dig up the last big clump of iris at the CG to divide and conquer, then I can replant and ignore them for 3 years-almost. Think I’ll futz around the home garden, finding baby flowers to share at the fall swap. Not many people attend the swap in the Fall...

Good morning. Rain last night, cloudy. CG to dig another clump of iris or 2. Not sure what else is on the docket but weeding is always an option. Feel better, Sonya. Have a best day today. Enjoy natures beauty. Share with others.

Good morning. Beautiful AM for breakfast on the patio. Nice list of tomatoes, Downriver. I sent you a DM so hopefully it went through. (!) The kids and (hyper) dogs are coming for a visit. We’ll probably peruse the CG and home gardens for a few things. Hope you all have a wonderful Sunday...

Good morning. Another warmer day, hoping the rain doesn’t miss us. CG to water, then home for peaches. The tomatoes are slowly ripening, making my kitchen look inviting. Have a wonderful weekend. Remember those less fortunate. Stay cool!

Good morning. 60-85F, a nice day to garden. However I’m going out to breakfast w/the girls and then maybe the CG. We had some rain yesterday, nothing significant. Peaches are finally started to soften - maybe jam tomorrow. Downriver, will get a list of tomatoes. Have a great day. Stay cool 😊

Good morning. Temps in the 80’s for a change, plus a half hour of rain last night made for comfort today. Finishing the beets I picked yesterday, maybe peach jam tonight? It’s been too hot to stay in the kitchen long. Thanks for offering to trade, Downriver. I get in a rut trying to choose...

Good morning. Another day in the 90’s, hope that number will soon fade. Digging beets to pickle, planting new and old iris, and watering at the CG. Downriver, what tomatoes are you fermenting seeds from? Maybe we could trade? The peaches that we bought are still a bit green, just waiting to...

Good morning. The heat is on . . . especially for Harry and family. Try and keep cool in that heat, and enjoy the BBQ. Canning is starting - we’re way behind everyone, but at least we have a few red tomatoes. Busy busy. Have a wonderful Tuesday. Enjoy the fruits of your labor, and stayed hydrated.

Good morning. Still in the 90’s but I’m sure the end of the month will bring the temps closer to comfortable. Funny how a week away from the garden makes for a mess of weeds and harvest. Not sure what will be done, but canning is beginning. Have a great Monday. Take extra time for your pets...

Good morning. Vacation is over, now starts canning, pickling, etc. The CO mountains are beautiful, lots of cooler weather when you’re up over 9K’. The roads were very wīndy, but it was a sight to see. Glad we’re back and so is the cat! Have a wonderful Sunday. It’s hot (98) but all will survive...

Good morning. 55-82F, warmer now that we’re leaving. Picked cukes at home, ready for someone else. Finishing packing and loading the car. Oh, the good life, Sic. The good life here is the rain, though it should stop by the time we get home. Enjoy your weekend, harvest lots, share your bounties...

Good morning. 54-71F and 97% humidity (what’s that?). It’s a downright hoodie day when I’ll slowly get up to the CG to pick cukes this AM. At least the plants are happy with this weather. Thank you all for the get well wishes. Slow but sure - I see a doctor this afternoon - no big deal. I...

Good morning. 95F today, maybe some moisture. Not feeling that great, so I’ll be chillin’ inside hoping to fell better before we leave on vacation. Still have lots to do . . . Enjoy your day, take time for your pets.

Good morning. WX has predicted a sort of monsoon coming our way in another week or so. It’s a month later than in previous years, but we’ll take it. Sunny and hot for a few more days, then more comfortable weather. Still have flowers to dig, clean up. Like Downriver, it was just too hot. We’re...

Good morning. Lots of thoughts and prayers for you all in the path of the hurricane. Sic, such beauty in your pics. Thanks for sharing them. 102F at the airport yesterday, then a bit of rain that was so very welcome. I’m on my way to the CG to deadhead all the flowers that I’ve missed this...

Good morning. WX says 100F today. Hope it’s the end of that number. Pickling beets, staying inside w/the heat and smoky air. Maybe we’ll watch a bit of Olympics or a movie. It’s a Just Chill day with lots of heat. Enjoy your day. Be careful with that hurricane Debby soon upon you, Sic and Sonya.
