    semillas.de question

This was part of the rules for a small seed import permit.   https://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/ourfocus/planthealth/import-information/permits/plants-and-plant-products-permits/plants-for-planting/ct_smalllots_seed   I figured I'd try this the correct way.  Doesn't look to hard.   Thanks for...

    Yellow 7 pot hot sauce

Cabbage.  You can use that to keep the solids submerged.  I think it has properties to help prevent yeast too.   -Alden

    cloning DIY EZ Clone Bucket

I'm going to give this a try.  I picked up a 264 gph pump from Harbor Freight and other supplies from Lowes.  I picked the pump size based on it being the first size that had a threaded opening that I can thread my pvc pipe into.  I think with a little pvc glue and about 10 - 15 minutes I should...

Help with chocolate habanero hot sauce

As OS said try smoking the onions with the peppers.  I'd break them down to their individual layers to spread the smoke out more.   Looks good!   -Alden

Help with chocolate habanero hot sauce

I believe on the label the ingredients are listed in order of quantity used.   If you want to experiment get some store bought habs and play with quantities of each until you get the flavor and PH that you want.  Make sure you measure everything so you can repeat it.   -Alden

What is going on with my peppers?

A new wrinkle...   Last night as I was picking a small batch of peppers I found a small hornworm working its way around one plant.  It would have been invisible except it had wasp larvae on it.  Hopefully this will help some because I have been tossing too many peppers this year.   I may have a...

What is going on with my peppers?

Sunburn is a possibility.  I haven't seen any bugs or slugs.   I guess I will have to work to get some shade setup for these guys for next year.   Thanks! -Alden
