    sick plants

Others mentioned repotting, which I think is a good idea. Additionally, I would remove all the sickly parts. It's wasting energy on lost causes. They also open the door for bacteria, mold, and fungi.

    growing in south Texas

I've noticed ants also go for pollen or nectar in the flowers. It doesn't necessarily mean there are aphids, but it's good to check if they ants are going under leaves. The white eggs may be their own eggs.

overwintering My Capsicum Cardenasii Survived Virginia's Winter

Just an update. I noticed that my bhut jolokia also survived our winter, so I think there is nothing special about it. However, it's pretty cool these species survived our winter! It must have been just mild enough. The bhut looked like it just had dead wood but now it's growing after having no...

    Info on 7 Pot Gravedigger

I'm interested in working on the SB7J with others. I will have to wait until next year though. It looks like mine from 13 are dead.   It would be interesting to see some photos and more information on the APS peppers here. People here can also help with stabilization if they're open to it.

    water Is this overwatering?

It looks like it. I double my cups up and water from the bottom. It's good to have drainage, so putting holes in the cups next time might be a good idea. I just use a knife.

    Seedless pepper genetics

Yeah, I don't want to mess with dangerous chemicals without a proper lab and equipment.

    Seedless pepper genetics

Hmmm, that's interesting they can cause mutations. I think I forgot about that. Is it possible to safely use methods of mutations such as caffeine at home? I'm assuming it's some sort of concentrated caffeine.

    Topping and Pruning Help

The plant is absolutely perfect. Good genes I think. It's in pristine condition(no leaves dropped, diseased, or got damaged). The main stem looks very sturdy and woody at the base. The only issue with it is the plant is too wide for the light source. It's ok though, I'm putting it outside today...

    Topping and Pruning Help

I'm against topping and pruning unless there is spacial concern. They just grow runners on the sides and are more robust without topping. I have a 2+ foot super bushy 7JPN growing hydroponically with runners coming from the bottom and tons of flowers. Light just needs to reach there. I wouldn't...

    Seedless pepper genetics

How come there is variation in the F1? It should be homogeneous, no? However, if there is homogeneity, that's a good find. If not, it might be a good idea to clone to propagate.

Anyone want to do a seed trade for one? Do you think it's interspecific? We don't typically see purple in c. baccatum. Gorgeous flower!

health Strange leaf issue with Birds eye - what’s wrong?

Sadly it could be from the seeds. However, this doesn't look like BLS to me. Maybe the lights were too close? Perhaps they will recover.
