raised-bed Problems growing peppers in my raised beds

can't see mites without magnification. get a jewelers loupe if your nutrients are good on the soil test and the soil is draining you should be good there. I can't say if pH 7.6 would be problematic, I'm sure someone else will chime in... best of luck!

Quick Hot Peppers For Zone 5b/Lake Michigan Area Wisconsin

Im growing in madison and do just fine. Start indoors before March 1st. The super duper hot pods could start earlier. But most everything will do just fine. 5-7ga pots/or rootbags. If you give them too much rootzone theyll take longer. Good luck

Can I grow chili pepper plants directly in my lawn?

If you dont mind sacrificing a small circle of your lawn you should just look into fabric pots. Your plant will be happier...you can fill it with good high quality medium and ferts. Rain wont be nearly as big an issue than if you planted on clay. Chiles, in clay, in PA...doesnt sound like a...

    Buncha Malarky 2018 edition

If you're able I'd maybe try an experiment with your looong season plants. try a 5ga and a 10 ga and see if their is a difference in yield. You could even clone one of your OW's for the project. I think confining the plant to a smaller container may be the way to force a harvest rather than...

What do you guys do with unripe pods?

I made an awesome sauce with green baccatums. Bunch of green lemondrop and bishops crowns roasted with tomatillos, garlic and sweet onion. Pull them out when things start to get little black bits on them and then blend with a bit of salt, lime juice/vinegar to taste. I also sweet pickled green...
