Well do you have any research availiable for reading? I am getting ready to start another compost pile. I can do a side by side test. This is a hot compost, and should be ready by late July. I have enough to seperate the piles into two 3x3x3 piles instead of a 2cuyd pile.
Yes I do. I have never really considered adding anything to the compost. I tend to keep things simple. If I could see a reasonable use for the product for an actual problem i have, I might consider adding it. I would have to do more research.
I received a package today. - Not from someone here, but it was from a pepper community. So I thought it belonged here.
It was an over-wintered first harvest of some of the Aji Rosita Red peppers that I gave them seeds for last October.
Pepper people are the best!
I have seen some tests done of the soil and nutrient content of produce grown with and without rockdust, and I am not convinced it is worth the investment imo.
I bought some reaper seeds directly from this place, and although too late for this season I plan on growing them next season. I have no idea what I would use them for at this time. I have only ever tasted a sliver of a reaper, and it was too hot imo for me to enjoy.
I'll report back...
I will definitely have to look into this! I get really busy around harvest season with my other crops. This might help with preserving the harvest a bit more. I am slammed from Late September through late November.
