Yes, The dark color goes away once the plant gets bigger and moved outside under the sun  Yes they are hard to germinate, But easy to grow and easier to overwinter 

Nice pics Rob    This is one of the toughest wilds I have seen. It lives for years and year and tolerates harsh conditions.

John, I hate you now ........ :mope:   when you combine the skill/passion of both wild peppers and photography, You make us beginner feel bad and behind lol. :tear:      Your pics bring a whole new meaning of beauty to the already beautiful wild pepper. 

Watch the watering too, it can lead to yellow leafs, try some Epsom salt, fish and kelp mix and liquid iron if u have some.
