I appreciate all of the input from you guys. I would like to point out that what I was looking for is the local observations that we backyard gardeners and small farmers have seen in the past 10 or 20 years.  Basically, has the weather changed? Gotten hotter or cooler? Seasons not quite right...

I think that you will find answers that vary for the SHU but it seems to be a bit over 1,000,000.   As far as taste,  I don't know how you really determine the taste of a super hot. There is a little bit of flavor for about fifteen seconds then the flavor is pain.

I don't think anyone really knows the SHU of BBG peppers. As far as the bleeding calyx, if you received them from a good source then you should be fine. BBG's still aren't very stable but they seem to be stable enough now that most of them produce bleeding caps.
