A pure pepper mash will have the same SH... sauces add other items that dilute the SH so yes it is much different and based on ratios. Not many (if any) hot sauce companies will test for SH cause its expensive and if the sauce is tasty thats really all that matters in the end

In the Bahamas the goat peppers are supposedly to have an aroma of a wet goat. Also they are the pepper of choice when making goat curry or mutton griot.

I dont know about you, all but I buy or make hot sauce to EAT. If I am going to pay 100 buck for a bottle it better damn as well come with a fillets, lobster, caviar, and foie gras. I have had the pepper X version of last dab, its got some flavor, and a whole a lot of heat. 99 dollars worthy NO WAY.
