I'd say its prime time for another update!
Not too much is going on, plants are growing, pods are showing, and growing and growing! Seriously, I thought Tabasco was meant to be small?!?! I'm pretty sure the seeds are right, because everything is hunky-dory, except for the fact that the pods...
Looks like a huntsman to me, I assume that you get them in the states too, as others have suggested the same.
Non-dangerous, but bite hurts a tonne, also very, very, good jumpers. If there's one on the roof in the hallway, I hate walking under it.
Niice!
I think we can have it just general - if you have a pod that you think is a contender, then just weigh it and post here
:pics:
A quick refresher on the competition(s):
- Most total pods harvested (Competition plant)
- Heaviest weigh in (figure it out at end of competition)
-...
I did some quick googling, and I found a lot of stuff saying how/why to add egg shells, but nothing said a recommended amount or a maximum amount. So I guess you can't have too much? One thing that I did find was that because the egg shells take so long to biodegrade, their calcium-boosting...
I think you could safely say that its slow growing, and especially slow ripening. Its taken 6 months + to go from sowing to ripe fruit. I'd say that the earlier you sow them, the better.
All The Best, TBG.
You know how people sometimes send birthday cards (or other cards for that matter) filled with confetti?
It may help to mask the presence of seeds in the envelope? When being scanned/X-rayed, etc. Haven't tried it myself.
If you aren't getting flowers by now, you really need to provide your plants with some energy. Watering them with a can of Red-Bull every hour for at least the first month will ensure success!
If your plants are really slow, and are yet to sprout, then you'll need something more energy-heavy...

Still looks like you're up to good mischief D3, sauces still looks as great as ever, with labels to match!
IMO D3 is the abbreviated version of D3monic. Like a nickname kinda thing.
But is it pronounced demonic, or dee-monic, or dee-three-monic? :eh:  ...
X-post from D3's Community Crossing Project for a focus on the crosses of his that I've got growing!
As a quick refresher, I've got growing:
4x Devil's Prick F2
3x Aji Painapple F2
4x 7 Pot Burgundy X CGN 21500 F2
4x El Scorponero F2
Here's the 4 Devil's Pricks
Here's the 3 Aji...
Cheers! I wouldn't mind having a few pods on it by now, but all in good time I guess...
Funnily enough, I went out and measured the trunk yesterday, and its spot on 1 inch (give or take 1 mm). So there ya go!
Figured I haven't updated in a while, so might as well, although there's no significant progress.
The two plants, 55cm and 80cm.
Plant No.2 (smaller one) is starting to pod up.
No. 1 still has no flowers, but finally has some decent-looking buds. It's growing along very well though...
As promised, I've got some pictures of my contribution to the project!

Here's the 3 Aji Painapple, youngest in the front...
Thanks! I think its both a blessing and a curse... it takes a lot of maintenance, but should hopefully reap a lot of rewards! But even then, a flood of pods itself is both a blessing and a curse....
And then I've still got about 2 dozen plants left to find a home for!!!!!! I've...
Updated update time!
These photos are fresh off the press! Taken less than 1 hour ago!
Lets see them! :woohoo:
First of all, I mulched the large middle row on the weekend.
Just used an inch or so of lawn clippings, because we're now heading into the warmer part of the year! :onfire...
