    Wulf's non-Glog Kill Log. ... A Klog.

Ditch the spray and use labybugs,   May be too late, as you don't want the good bugs to get nuked by the bad bug chemical warfare.   Pyretherin works a charm when used at first notice, but after a few generations of eggs---it's a losing battle.   I dumped 1500 of the pretty little beatles on 4...

Anyone tried making your own basket/sponge setup for the aero garden?

none left from last batch, so no pix. Simple. Cut slightly larger than the hole when wet, exactly the same size when dry. Cut in a cone shape, or cut round and shape after. $5 at a dollar store will give you more than enough to practice on.   Note they don't work quite as well as the originals...

Anyone tried making your own basket/sponge setup for the aero garden?

Dollar store sponges. No basket needed if you cut them large. When cut and wet, use a pencil to poke a hole all the way through. Stick your seeds 1/8 inch into the hole.   Fat "poofy" sponges work best, but not the ones with the huge pores.

Any one else have just a terrible year for pods?

Bad dirt in starter pots. Too much water on planting plot. Bugs. Did I mention bugs? Wind. More wind. Way to windy.   Grower inattention, due to grower too much attention last season.   But-----semi-bonchi projects are still alive, and have pods. Hydro has monster plants.

    So i got ripped off....

Open ripe pods, remove seeds, let them dry, put them in an envelope, label well, keep in a cool dark place.   I just do it the quick way by putting the wet seeds in a well marked envelope, sticking it on a sunny window sill for a few days, then filing them away with the rest of my stash.   When...

overwintering Which Pepper Plant Should I Overwinter?

Hmmm.   Gave up on the whole OW thing.   The "going dormant" ow anyway.   Have great sucess going into and out of hydro, so the ones I want to keep growing start in dirt, go into hydro, and finish second year in dirt.   I haven't gone beyond 2 years in this method (in bulk) because I can only do...

I always keep a couple Dragons, if sometimes just for color on a window sill.   Even in a little flower pot, a few fresh pods every week mostly year round.
