    breeding Created a new cross

The pods from my chinense x annuum crosses have had very few f1 seeds, and they have not been reliable to sprout. The F2s have been relatively normal with quantity and germination rate. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

    chinense Carolina Reaper x Ghost

The F1s are all nearly identical. That's why large seed companies sell F1 hybrids, they get Hybrid vigor and a uniform, predictable crop. The f2 generation is where the diversity comes in. That's where you get random genetic mixing. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

    Perfect Isolation Set Up

I'd use metal conduit pipe and a pipe bender to make 3'-6' diameter hoops depending on how big your plants get. Sew those into the bottoms of the tulle bags. Theyll be easier to move and store than wood frames and should last longer. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

    Neem Oil Resistance?

Try spraying coffee sun tea, It. Has worked wonders for me with aphids and whiteflies. Spray every 2-3 days at first then you can cut back to once per week. I still have the occasional outbreak, but they are much less frequent and not nearly as severe. For recipe search for the member...

    Stunted new Carolina Reaper

I'm in south Florida so what I fo may not apply as we have high humidity and fairly high heat. I would repot it into Lambert's or Fafard's potting mix and then water daily until it recovers from the transplant. After that water as necessary, and keep it out of the noontime sun for a week or two...

    Stunted new Carolina Reaper

It looks really chunky and well, not very high quality. You need a soil mix with high porosity and fast drainage for seedlings. For larger plants you can use the cheaper soil, but for new seedlings get high quality canadian peat or coco coir based soil mix. There is really no substitute for a...

    Stunted new Carolina Reaper

Your peppers will grow better if you use actual potting soil. Whatever that is in those pots, save it for the garden beds. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk

This study is somewhat related. It appears plants can "predict" cycle changes and adjust prior to a day-night cycle event. Sent from my ONEPLUS A3000 using Tapatalk
