    Cappy's 2015 Chocolate BS

Some close up pods shots of some of the green CBS that are starting to form.  Many of the berries in the first fork of my plants are growing erect, but with real nice looking 7 pod shape and texture.  Pod size is smaller than the yellow, closer to the red BS.  The plants are shorter than both...

    Devv's 2015 - 16, Life is good!

What a terrible tragedy with the prom queen and getting caught up in that water, she called 911 and her Dad before getting swept away.  I can not even imaging what that family is going thru right now my heart is broken for them.  I bet your plants will get through this time just fine sound like...

    REDTAIL's 2015

Really hate that for you Dan I cannot believe a frost this late did that to your grow.  You need to develop a sauce with Chocolate Brain Strain and we can hook up like old days brother.  Isn't  it supposed to be really hot up in the northeast corridor this week, sitting in the A/C too hot to go...

    Ignite's 2015 Superhot Grow

Right on Stephen those plants and the strains your growing has got to be the definitive grow of supers anywhere.  We need to talk and compare notes but like you my Chocolate Brain Strain is loaded up with green brainy 7 pod berries.  Looks like I'll have a good summer crop if this great weather...

    Cappy's 2015 Chocolate BS

Sweet custom blade you picked up there Dave, is that 1095 steel like other Newts or something special.  The bubbling from the heat treatment and the grinding lines really make this knife stand out.  Hope you are out abusing her, wouldn't leave my side. :drooling:

    PexPeppers 2015

Looking good Garrett really enjoyed that video.  The hydro plants are looking good outside, do you have any issues with the nutrient solution getting too hot? The garden looks like a good start and great selection of super hot plants.  I guess I need to get in to the online plants sales and...

    CHOCOLATE BRAIN STRAIN

I have 160+ plants growing from a box I received from Judy last year labeled Chocolate Brain Strain.  It is the only pepper I am growing, seed and fresh pods coming soon.  If they were F5 last year then they should be pretty consistent in shape and flavor and searing heat in my garden.  Many...

    Cappy's 2015 Chocolate BS

Nanny is still with us on Mother's Day and doing ok, thank you for the well wishes.  We have been under cloudy wet conditions the last 4 days with tropical storm Ana finally making landfall this morning.  I got out and took some pictures while the sun was out just for just a minute.  Plants are...

Happy Mother's Day to all the wonderful moms that raised us to be heat lovers and put tabasco on our pacifier as babies.

    pests Some Growing Question (Pests/Calcium)

Not much you can do about the amount of rain you been having, but I do like the idea of hanging an angled tarp to shield from getting any wetter.  This is a very touch and go time for most growers when the plants first go outside as the plants just sit there while the roots are growing.  Your...

    OCD 2015

Really nice Aerogarden starts you have going Chuck, lots of roots and short plants with big green leaves what more can you ask for? Hope the weather warms enough to get them outside soon and get them really growing under the big halide in the sky.

    Romy6 2015

Love all the pod porn Jamie the SBJ7 looks to be throwing off the SB gene and the Bhutlah is just nasty.  The Brown Bubblegum looks to have the large calyx and nice size bumpy pods.  Everything look green and healthy in the yard and Ally Bear is so cute with front legs crossed hamming it up for...

    Couple questions about new peppers.

Nice selection of plants and I agree they are too big to separate anymore.  Just buy some quality potting soil and pot them as they are, good luck!

    Cappy's 2015 Chocolate BS

I am back home and off the boat for the remainder of the week, we are under an unnamed tropical depression right off our coast.  Hurricane season officially starts June 1st so this is a bit earlier this year.  But on a plus note my plants are getting a good soaking after applying a top dressing...

Guru's Garden - Traveling the World in Search of Peppers

Nice plot to have the garden in this year look a bit different from last years.  Glad to see you have plants in the ground and the hard work is over.  Do you have an irrigation drippers set up or how are you watering the plants.  The garden looks beautiful all planted out, will be checking back...

    Cappy's 2015 Chocolate BS

I just sprinkle about 1/2 cup garden tone around each plant once a month and water in.  It may take a few watering to fully dissolve off the top of the soil.  I try to use right before a big rain shower and let that soak the soil.
