    Selling individual pods

I figuring your just wanting to sell to friends/co-workers...etc.   I'm pretty much doing that also in my area and work.   Our local stores have NOTHING in the way of hot peppers except for the jalapenos and sad looking habs with a occasional Serrano and Pablo. My small world of peppers...

misc 1.7oz Glass Woozy vs 9 gram disposable mylar sachet (packet)

I should mention that when I go to the casinos and get morning room service my daughter likes for me to bring home these little guys....she thinks their cute but don't hold much.

misc 1.7oz Glass Woozy vs 9 gram disposable mylar sachet (packet)

You don't mean they cost them same right ?  Just the cost of "packing" the sauce.   materials (packets vs bottles) would be the real pricing factor I would think.  That stuff is a couple of years away from me if at all, my world revolves around dried usage but it's a interesting topic.   ...and...

misc 1.7oz Glass Woozy vs 9 gram disposable mylar sachet (packet)

I'd easily go with the 9 grammer. I'm not sure what the cost may be between the 2 but I imagine the packet being cheaper assuming the co-packer doesn't need to make 50,000 units in order to make it worth their while. The 1.7's although appealing would be very cost prohibitive. Just imagine after...

    drying Dehydrating Peppers

a helpful hint.   When grinding in the coffee grinder use a barely moist paper-towel and use it as a outter seal while grinding, this will help catch any dust that may escape during the process. Also give a top of a few raps lightly with your knuckle/finger tip to knock any excess off the sides...

    drying Dehydrating Peppers

I did check the temp on the Oster(2nd year) since it didn't have a variable control on it after reading some posts here at THP. It read 150f, the other(Pestro) was just about dead on with it's readings.  I did notice the lower levels drying faster and rotated them about midway through the...

    drying Dehydrating Peppers

I've never had a issue with any noticeable discoloring when I've been drying the least 5 years.   I run mine around 135-140F.  cut mine in half, sometimes 3rd's depending on size....stem-free of course.   don't overload it and go by the makers suggested spacing (sortof)   I use both a Presto...

A visit to the Grand Canyon a few years back...no color editing only to resize and add text. (otherwise they'd be 20"x30" roughly) The color change happened within a 20 min window. Loved it...
