How do I manage a schedule with 341 hours of shows over 2 months?

Basically:   Selling product not pre-approved on the contract (application) Subletting your booth / selling someone else's stuff not approved Having people in your booth not part of your business.  (hanging out, Occupy Sam & Oliver, etc) Alcohol, firearms, smoking (some places you can't even...

How do I manage a schedule with 341 hours of shows over 2 months?

I'm 99.5% certain my booth will NOT be on fire when I return from using the can.   I've started seeking out friends and surprisingly I have had about 10 or so people express interest.  The trove of people came from a woman who is a work-at-home mom who makes a living selling wellness products.  ...

How do I manage a schedule with 341 hours of shows over 2 months?

Yeah there are a few colleges in the area here.   I've begun reaching out to friends and family first to see who they know, paying $15 an hour and $20 on the weekends.  I'll look into the split shifts, etc.   As far as logistics, I'm reordering product now so I have enough stock, and will...

How do I manage a schedule with 341 hours of shows over 2 months?

This upcoming fair season, I was able to book myself into some of the biggest state fairs we have in CT.  Now that the contracts are in place, deposits are paid and the venue booked, I need to start looking at staffing.  341.5 total fair hours of billable time if an employee were to help.  I'll...

co-packer Where to find someone to copack/manufacture a very small quantity of a limited sauce flavor?

This was conceptualized as a "quarter 4 / winter limited run" that would be advertised as a "stay warm / turn up the heat" campaign, and be included in various combo-packs and exclusively through events in December/January of 15/16, until it ran out. (Apothic wine did this with "Apothic Dark" -...

artwork Best way to create a contest in social media - 3rd party?

Last time I tried creating a giveaway contest using Facebook, and promoted the post to get people to like/share a "Tag someone who loves hot sauce" post that encouraged people to check out the site, like the FB Group page, share and/or tag someone else.   It worked great, except for one small...

co-packer Where to find someone to copack/manufacture a very small quantity of a limited sauce flavor?

Unfortunately the sauce I wanted to run is in a very small demographic in my area (superhot, Brainstrain-Strawberry Preserves-Honey) - I can't exactly sell that at the supermarket (people here freak out now over hab sauces, god forbid they get a hot mouth) and the cost per case would drive my...

co-packer Where to find someone to copack/manufacture a very small quantity of a limited sauce flavor?

I proudly use Endorphin Farms for all my runs, and will continue to do so, however for small runs of a "limited product", I need to find out who/where/how to best go about it.   I started pursuing my Food Manufacturer's license in CT but it already expired and I didn't renew.  I don't have the...

While we are discussing plastic squeeze bottles

Yep.  I can't leave the booth at all.  I have 1 employee (double-tasting setup on the front edge) and I'm considering making a 3rd tasting side if I get a corner...  We'll see

    I feel so defeated

With the retail side of the fence, go to some medium to small chain supermarkets.  Talk to the manager, and ask if they have a "Local Product" display, or if they allow products made locally in the store.   Chances are, chains are controlled by a corporate headquarters, which they may give you...

While we are discussing plastic squeeze bottles

Necro.  I have to use a squeeze bottle for my bbq sauce because pouring out of a 16oz stout bottle it starts to drip down the side, and the sugar makes a mess after a while.  I use a 16oz squeeze bottle with a partially trimmed label.   I just use the 5oz woozy bottles for sampling.  Easy, no...

each color in the label requires a separate plate for the press   in this label there are 3 plates: yellow gold black   adding another color means another plate $100 each plate plus resetup fee again   it also means more cost per label.   i can look into it. cinder and stoke had 2 plates. gold had 3

labels Sam & Oliver's Molten Gold BBQ sauce - new label critique

ok serious note here.  I can't see where to put the word "spicy" in the romance panel.  I have limited space, which means that something would have to come out to make spicy fit, physically within its constraints.   What if "Spicy" was stylized on the label graphic?
