I tried to use peat pots last year, but it was too hard to keep the plants happy in them. They drew the moisture out of the soil and killed a few of my plants. However, the best way to water them i found was to set the pot in some water until it absorbed enough.
This is my second year growing hot peppers, and my first for growing super hots. This year is going to be a massive step up from my previous year. Pot size is going from 3 gallon to 5, varieties are going from 11 to 31 and counting, and plant count is going from 30 to about 300. I might end up...
I put the seed in the soil at the beginning July, and it popped out about a month later. It grew to the size it is now minus that one big leaf which it was getting when I brought it inside in October. It's just sat on the floor next to the slidding glass door until today when I thought it would...
Got a late start this year, but its my first year really growing peppers. Starting at 12 and going clockwise we have yellow Trinidad perfume, bolivian rainbow, purira, Hawaiian sweet hot, Sofia sweet, dwarf salsa, purple serrano, and santaka.
