right below the light at the canopy level its 85 degrees.
I thought also that might be to high. with the fan on its 82 degrees now. I keep the fan on alot.
day 1: straight water... flowers seem strong! And yes the leaves are very green, and the bottom growth of the plants are very large leaves.
lets hope that's a taste of what to come. I gave them a huge watering, in hopes of getting deep into the roots.
if most the flowers they have set, then...
no sight of pollen on the flowers. So i put a fan on them, and still no pollination.
Ill stop ferts and ill go back to them if I see signs of any nutrient deficiency.
I have 2 Bubblegum 7 pot and 1 carolina reaper.

Yet another year of indoor growing, last year I had the same issues, and can't quite remember the main cause.
I have seen the posts.. and the causes,
what is optimum humidity? for hot peppers
1. Day temp too high >95F
2. Night temp too low <65F
3. Too much nitrogen fertilizer
4. Too much...
If you restrict the container size and let them start to flower, pot them up a few sizes bigger and they will flower/set fruit and not put alot of energy into building leaves anymore... i did that with most my plants.
had a few flowers... I have to put a fan on these to get them them pollinated if I miss self pollinating when I see flowers. I have 2 this size... nice size for indoors.
I just put these in 3 gallon pots a few weeks ago. like 3?
dlsolo, I have a few seeds left and 2 vigorous plants.
send me a message... i can sasbe you some seeds?
its not many but you should be able to get few going.
I have not seen if mine are growing true yet or not.. mine are just flowering but looking just like the tight closed flowers like...
I use hydroponic nutrients, jungle juice same formula give or take GH flora series. Using 8ml micro and 16ml bloom, and 5ml Calmag+ Lucas formula but I add the Calmag
Also watch out if there is nutrients in your soil you could burn your plants
4 weeks is pretty long especially for a peppers life. Plus as said feed them heavy and they would dwarf you 5 gallon pots. I still have some peppers in promix in solo cups almost as big as your 3 gallon ones.
ill have opening flowers soon also... Has anyone indoor growing timed from
flower open -> fully ripe pepper?
I'm just looking for some estimates. I was running 16 hour lights but just recently went to 12 hour light schedule to cut back on costs.
