    Super hot after shave

That is awesome and so cruel at the same time.

Has anyone been in contact with a pepper daemon?

No, I have not been in contact with any pepper background processes on my computer. ;)

    Compmodder26's 2015

Thanks for helping me look on the bright side Andy.  Thanks for watching my reviews.  I wish I could get myself back in the game, but time really hasn't been on my side these past couple of years, and the last year I did do reviews, even though my mouth could tolerate the heat, my stomach was in...

Thanks Chuck!  I'm confident they'll be fine.  And yes, I definitely need to get on more often.

    Compmodder26's 2015

Thanks a lot!  Unfortunately, I've had to give up the review game.  Time constraints get in the way and my stomach really can't take eating the raw superhots whole any more.   Thanks Jamie.  I hope they do.  Probably gonna keep up with weekly doses of nutrients just to be safe though.

    Compmodder26's 2015

Yeah, I remember Gary doing that.  And I expected the N deficiency last year, but was hopeful that this year would be different.  But it doesn't appear so.

    Compmodder26's 2015

Once again, I'm slacking on my updates.  Life getting the better of me, I suppose.  Anyway, the peppers didn't fare so well after their transplants into the soil.  They started showing signs of N deficiency.  And to top it off, I waited too long to react, thinking perhaps they just needed to get...

    water Collecting Rain Water

If you can't lid and screen it, another option is to put mosquito dunks in it.

    water Collecting Rain Water

I'm in Lexington, and they actually have a government supplied rain barrel program.  Here's a link to it:  http://www.lexingtonky.gov/index.aspx?page=1816.  It included all the parts it needed except for the flexspouts needed to connect to my house's downspout and to drain the overflow from the...

chinense Trinidad Moruga Scorpion does not exist?

While they may not specifically address CARDI's claim, TriniHottie is Sarah R. (can't remember her full last name), who is from Trinidad and Tobago.  She has been integral and spreading the Trinidad varieties (IE 7 Pot, Scorpion, etc.) throughout the world.  Many varieties bear her initials...

chinense Trinidad Moruga Scorpion does not exist?

The Moruga Scorpion was originally named "Trinidad Scorpion Moruga Blend".  I believe it was Jim Duffy that made the nomenclature of "Moruga Scorpion" popular when supplied the peppers to be tested by CPI.

chinense Red Yellow Ghost Pepper ???

As was mentioned before, cross pollination would only affect the next year's crop (assuming you plant seeds from pods you harvest from this year).  The fruit of this years crop would bear the genetic characteristics of the seeds you planted this year.  So it's most likely just a mislabeled plant.

Is this leaf growth normal for this plant?

    Yep, perfectly normal.

What do you use for mulch?

I use Ramial Chipped Wood.  You can read up on the benefits here:   http://www.dirtdoctor.com/view_org_research.php?id=69

    Compmodder26's 2015

Thanks John!     Thanks Chuck!  If I didn't have the community garden, I wouldn't have the space to grow near as many plants as I'd like.  It really has been a blessing.  And at $20/year, it's a real steal as well.

Yellow leaves on cucumbers, please help

I'd say if you continue to notice a trend of the lower leaves yellowing, then you probably have a nitrogen deficiency.   Nitrogen is a mobile nutrient, meaning that if there is not enough present in the soil.  The plant will draw it out of the older leaves to help make the new ones.
