If you say they move fast, I'm inclined to disagree with them being aphids. I've never encountered a fast moving aphid before. They are very slow moving insects. Whatever they are though, I don't believe they are beneficial.

I've used milk/water solution to combat powdery mildew with my zucchini. I mixed equals parts of each. It worked great. For me, it only took a single application to stop the powdery mildew from spreading to other leaves.

Thanks Scott.  Gary was the one who introduced me to RCW as well.  So far, this year, it has worked wonderfully in my backyard raised beds.  I'm fighting a bit for Nitrogen in my Community Garden pepper bed right now, but that's the be expected as the bed is quite a bit younger than my backyard...

Looks like a type of leafhopper.  They are a pest in that they feed off the plants, but I've never seen them cause any problems before.
