+1 I had a naga morich that I left too long in a cup and just transplanted it about two weeks ago. Went from about 8" tall to about 18" tall in that time and now has flowers on it. Don't give up on it. Transplant anytime after the second set of true leaves are set.

Looked up trashbug and that looks like it. Evidently its a lacewing larava so that critter can hang around

Yeah mine too...my fatalii is a beast and that is after the top broke off during a storm. Gets about 5 hours direct afternoon sun and about 1-2 hours filtered evening sun. My hope is that really I just picked the one too early and the heat will be there a little later on. You are definitely not...

Does the amount of sunlight that plants get effect thr heat level of pods? My plants are doing really well in about 5-6 hours direct sun but the jwalas that are already big enough to eat have absolutely no heat...although I did pick the one early because I couldn't wait any longer for that first...

Yeah that can happen but the beauty of peppers is how hardy they are. As far as procedure...put potting mix in bucket...dig hole...pull plant out of current pot soil and all...carefully break up the root-soil mix taking care not to damage the roots too much but giving them room to breathe...put...

3" is big enough to transplant...move those babies over and let them grow.

I've got a couple of plants that seem wilted but have a couple of leaves that are huge-ish compared to the rest of the leaves on the plants. What determines leaf size, would these few leaves cause wilting from needing more h2o, and should I clip them? No pics right now since it is too dark.

You need a bigger fridge lol. I suppose since you are in fla you could dig a moat and guard your peppers with gators

Are they I pots outside or in ground? Either way I suppose you could surround them with chicken wire to deter the toad. I germinate mine in paper towel in a plastic zip-top bag on top of the fridge then bury in extremely lightweight seed starting medium about 1/4-1/2" deep. Had about 90% success...

I went back to check them out this afternoon and was able to shake some of the water which perked them up some.  But unfortunately my fatalii, which was my best looking plant, snapped off about 3/4 of the way up the plant (including all the buds).  I took the top and snipped most of the leaves...
