    No one seems to understand

I never have understood why, when people see that you are happy with something that they do not understand, 99% of the time their immediate reactions are to make fun of your enjoyment and call you out on it... It's always funny to me how it will always turn around on them...On several occasions...

tutorial Beginner's guide to AACT/Compost Tea

I'd soil drench it and make another batch to foliage spray. Greenman, Another common thing I am seeing with regards to testing these teas is in regards to quality and reliability in producing consistent batches of teas. The variables to be considered from study to study would be overwhelming...

I don't see anything definitive either... They list the 5 variations as being: An untreated control (I'm assuming water and no ferts), Synthetic soil fertilized, synthetic soil fertilized with synthetic foliage sprays (conventional), tea only, and then tea with synthetics and synthetic sprays...

Why can i not get a head on my tea??!!

I don't think you can have too much aeration...the KIS tea making kit features a "jet engine" cascading air through the tea....first time I watched a video of it I was thinking, "and just how much of this is going to stay in the bucket..." jump to about 3:33 and look at the amount of air...

+1 on using it. The bubbly looking skimmy byproduct on the periphery of the bucket is froth...you can dose now or wait a while longer for a more bacterial brew. The picture of the foamy head in my guide is an exceptionally well aerated and brewed tea...not everybody's tea will look like that...

    how do you get seeds

You can use the pod immediately after you do it, but it won't keep long otherwise. You can also try to take a pair of tweezers and run down the length of the pepper, splitting it apart. Then pull out the seeds with the tweezers. The above method I use when I need seed from 30+ pods...it takes...

    how do you get seeds

"well son, it all starts as a twinkle in someone's eye..." Just messing with ya...the technique I use with my Thai peppers is to cut the stem end off the pepper and then roll the pepper in between your thumb and forefinger. I do this over and over (just hard enough to feel the seeds freeing...

Why can i not get a head on my tea??!!

I definitively do not think that a tea has to have a head to be beneficial...I just want to illustrate that seeing a head in your tea is about the easiest and quickest way to feel comfortable that you've got some good aerobic microbe brewing going on without having to pull out a micro book and a...

Why can i not get a head on my tea??!!

It breaks down to the process of cellular respiration as the microbes breakdown the "food" in the bucket. Aerobic cellular respiration is obviously when the bacterium utilize oxygen within this process to break down organic molecules. Certain byproducts result due to this breakdown and these...

Why can i not get a head on my tea??!!

I've seen differing thoughts on the foaming debate...supposedly, in my researched understanding, the foaming indicates that the microbes in the brew are multiplying and increasing their numbers and the foam is produced as a byproduct of replication indicating that these bacterium are...
