No one seems to understand

why should you care what others think if what you are doing makes you happy....as long as what you are doing isn't against the law or infringes on other peoples rights...
 
I'm 35 and got alot of buddies that are into cars, primarily american muscle. We do a fair amount of racing, going to car shows, searching for old rusty and grimy parts, and tuning our rides. They just dont understand the gardening thing. Tell me I'm weird everytime I mention a pepper, but everytime we go racing its hey" we'll all pitch in 10 bucks for you to get some food" so one minute I'm trying to figure out why my friends electric water pump isn't pumping then tending to the ribs,and burgers on the grill.

You are who you are, I drink a beer with my peppers almost everyday. They bring me joy!!! Even my own wife says I'm an oddball. Peppers are like our cars to some degree they dont talk back, they tell you what they want just by their body language, they love you back if you take care of them.
 
I never have understood why, when people see that you are happy with something that they do not understand, 99% of the time their immediate reactions are to make fun of your enjoyment and call you out on it...

It's always funny to me how it will always turn around on them...On several occasions I have had a friend stumble upon a youtube pepper video, hear about a pepper etc....and find me and go, "man, we have to get some of these." To which my reply is, "want to try a fresh one...?" :hell: or "Well I don't have that one :shh: , but come try this sweet one that looks like it has a scorpion stinger on the bottom..." :rofl:
 
Be a trend setter.
Some of your old friends will turn weird, or you will find new weirdo's to hang with.

Everyone who has a hobby outside the same old same old is seen as a bit odd.
Until it catches on.

People always give me that "huh?" look when I tell them about this "forum" I am a member of.
Forums and the real world don't seem to mix. It makes me laugh.
Especially the friends I have that brag about not knowing how to even turn on a computer, dude... You're missing out.

haha,,i was accused about surfing porn one time. i showed the misses my search history of running forum yes i ran at one time,serial killer docs. andmedieval torture history website... i think the wife wished i had been looking at porn,lol...



and dude who cares what people think about you or what you do! more than likely in 5 years you wont even be around any of these people. you just do your thang.
