looks good to me  , your cali weather is kinda like my Florida weather you can almost start growing anytime of year my first flowers are just showing up now and have more seedlings to plant out

they wont be pollinated if they just appear and are still a little ball once they open up they expose the pollen so you have like a week or 2 to catch em

they wont cross until you plant the seeds from the crossed flower pod if you need some seeds for next season you can tie a silk bag or breathable material over a flower until it is pollinated and turns to a pod then take the bag of and save those seeds

its still solid dark green and poppin out banana peppers and growing the current ones just a few curved shriveled  leaves guess it was just a hiccup  now some of the brown skin is like flaking off kinda reminds me of a peanut skin  just flakes away when you rub it the peper looks fine under neither

they hide there nuts in my bed too i think they use the plants as markers and dig right under it  i hate it  there are some granules things you can sprinkle around the ground to keep em away"so they say" ive sen at walmart n garden areas

all the light coming from the top wont hit the leaves that are covered by the bigger higher leaves so if it can bounce off a wall off the floor and back up to a leave then yea its worth it

yea all the little new growth is like stunted they are all tiny little leaves n just stay small then the big ones are REAL dark green  and a few are Wrinkled/curled like crazy   but still each has about 15 -20 good pods

i just had some of my scorpion vodka today after 3 weeks it lost almost all its color but is still floating but plenty of heat in the drink it was good

if you are having problems with viruses id keep them out of standing water maybe make a Little hole in the Tray that leaks slower than it fills so there will be a slow drain and then it will refill after  another watering

maybe your water out on the country side  has less vitamins and "nutrients " than compared to the city water with stuff added
