Mine don't look like the pods in the pictures and they go from light green to deep brown. There normally a bit wrinkly and have a fairly dull skin with no shine
Hello Jayman, yep the pods are Fatalii's. Their from a plant that I bonsai'd over winter, the plants taken off this year from only a little stump and now its producing some decent sized peppers :)
Starting to get enough pods for some sauces, next week should be a good week with lots of pods on my dorset getting ready for picking. Will make a new sauce next week and post it in my sites blog.
Sorry Grant but I think I now win, this guy just keeps growing.
That sucks Gas, I had the same problem last year. Pick off all the pods put them in a bag and spray with the Rogor, any of the yuck pods left laying around will just hatch more of the little #@$@ers and the cycle won't stop. I...
My BT Scorp does produce different looking pods throughout the season but that looks nothing like any I've grown before.
The good news is it looks nasty, in a good way :fireball:
So did I break any leaf size records lol Naaahh seen bigger but thats one big 7Pod Burgundy leaf. The other pics of my former bonsai fatalii that I repoted at the start of summer. Lots of pods coming in now from most of the plants... nice

Rain rain rain I think I got drunk and missed summer :scared:
Currently have around 14 burgundy 7pods going, something different for the year. Most are seedlings except four that are onto their fourth set of adult leaves. Also have 13 BT Scorps going all around 100-150mm tall at best.
If it...
Nothing to worry about, it's very common.
Something to do with a build up of a certain nutrient like phos or something but I can't remember.
Happy growing
Yes, Your in for a world of hurt this season :fireball:
And as above growing conditions will have an impact on the heat level, try to not water the plants for the last week or so before picking the peppers. Stressing the plant by leaving the plants to wilt before watering during the final...
Ghetto enough :)
My self watering outdoor seedling grow box, each section of the tray has a piece of old shoe lace down the center and through into water in the tray.
Keeps the seedlings watered for a good month or so
had a look before work and I have 5 7pods up and the majority of them are the left over seeds I popped into standard soil mix.
My butch has a good number of pods forming I'll have to get a picture uploaded before xmas :)
Well I have three Burgundy 7Pod seedlings at this point, it's enough but I'm expecting more to keep popping up over the next week or so.
My little hydro/cheapo seedling starter box I made is working fine, everything in it is growing and starting to show root systems out of the base of the...
Hmmmmmm no 7pods yet GAS :( I should have put them inside
I do have a good number of Douglah seedlings now and also used up the rest of the 7pod seed stock.
I guess the bigger update is that I thinned out the leaves on my trinidad scorp, it's got small pods and has a lot of flowers setting so...
I used Yates products last year and found them to be reliable. Also set up a worm farm, always a good thing to also feed with organic options at the same time.
