Are they all the same pepper in that SFG or different varieties? Just wondering how concerned you are about open pollination or not. We had thunderstorms here last night and wind was gusting to 45... I am still to scared to go out and see the damage...
Am I the only one who caught on to the fact that this guy said he is using dialup... I did not know they still had dialup internet available. They don't sell modems any more do they?? Is that free? Because you couldn't give me dialup internet for free...
Well update. My prik kee is showing no signs of nute burn yet and is happier than ever it seems. I have just been keeping an eye on it since it hasn't had its roots soaking in constant nute solution at that high a strength ever yet.
A hardware store chain called Menards use to sell them up to about 3 months ago and then they started stocking these green 5 gallon buckets with their logo on it.. Pissed me off when I went to buy more. They were only about $2.60 also each
That's all I do with mine except when changing nutes. I never check between nute changes and I never touch the plants until I lift them out of the bucket to drain the nutes. I would admit that I check water level half way through the week just in-case it is getting low. I am expecting my plants...
Here is another question. Which other countries have to deal with these pests? I have been seeing lots of news articles pushing people to cook and eat them. Apparently they are the shrimp of the land haha.
Okay the prik is in a dwc as of today. Bung hole washer was pushed aside and time to push it in high gear. Running three gallons of RO water with 90ml botanicare pure blend pro grow with 15ml of Cal mag and 15 ml of thrive alive b1 added in. Had to add 6 droppers full of ph up and we are at 1710...
You can try flushing some of the ferts out of the soil by watering heavily from the top and letting the water drain and leach them out. Definitely burning them though. Cal Mag only needs to be added for calcium deficiencies which would show up as leaf curl. What soil did you use originally? Was...
Thats awesome. My nitrites jumped off the chart and so did nitrates. The fish are all alive though thankfully. The ammonia levels were way high but dropped down to 2 ppm today so the nitrite bacteria seem to be taking hold pretty good and just waiting for the nitrate bacteria to catch up and...
I love Martinique! We don't need a French visa to visit as we are the closest island to Martinique and there is a high speed ferry service that takes passengers from Castries to Fort-de-France and is a little over an hour trip. The Cuisine is awesome over there.
Yeah don't blame the midwest for the crappy weather. We had a frost warning last night. I had to lug ALLLL of my peppers back inside! And great news about those creepy red eyed beasts staying away from Nebraska. A buddy here was telling me they will be out this year so wasn't sure. We have lots...
So I have been living in the US for 5 years now and now I am hearing that large amounts of cicadas swarming in small shrubs and trees could break branches and destroy these plants from the excess weight. Could this happen to our pepper plants outdoors? And do they really suck on trees and...
