I'm looking forward to growing the following this year: SB7J, Orange Rocoto, and some MOA's once I get some seeds.     I'm also working on a white sauce. Mine is currently aging as well but if it turns out well I'd love to compare notes on what's worked for you and turbo.

Is this a fairly common seed? I'm not sure that I've seen a packets for sale locally.

Looks pretty good. What type of ratio were you at between fruit and brainstrains? I haven't made any sauce with brainstrains but a current ferment of mine is using almost 2:1 ratio of fruit & pepper in the hopes that the initial bite won't be so strong.

This is my first year growing and am in the same boat. My Butch T has had almost a dozen pods for a month now and the first three are just now ripe. Patience is key and clearly don't have enough.    good luck on your first year.

I've read that same article and have considered the same thing. For me a Gewürztraminer is a bit too sweet. Luckily everyone that has an acre to spare in Iowa is producing a white wine so I have a few options. Let me know what wine you run with. 

Im currently using promix. I could cobtinue using that is this setup correct?

  I'm building a few this week too and was curious as well. I've got a few establised plants in 4 gallon buckets right now and would like to give this a try. I had thought that I would clean the root mass up a bit so they could reestablish themselves in the new setup. 

Didn't have time to talk to the butcher about quality but at a local market I saw 2.99/lb last night.
