Fresh seeds will grow fine, they dont need re-hydrating and so long as they are mature and viable seed, you will be fine :) Good Luck

So here it is.... First ever try of a rocoto. Was actually a lot hotter then i expected. The flavour was quite sweet and reminded my of a red bell pepper, but more earthy....dont know if that makes sense, but thats how it tasted, lol.\ Heat wise, i would probably say around 6 / 10...

I cant beleive this is still going :) Love it !!

I have tried, at least i think i have everything here, however i am not getting e-mails for replies for topics i am watching. I usually have everything set as a daily e-mail as i check out whats going on before going to work. What am i doing wrong?

If no one else gets in on this i will.... but only after other people get theirs first. Only reason for this is because i have a lot of seeds coming in soon from an auction and its probably more then enough for this and next season, lol. Again only if there isnt enough other Australian members...

So the question i have at the moment is how long i should wait till i pick the 'ripe' pods from the rocoto....

I have some ripe yellow 7 pods at the moment....taste awsome, but still have a damn good kick!! lol Also, you got some good looking plants going there. Whats your germination setup? Do you start them with artificial heating?

The photo doesnt really show it, but trust me he cant get in there...I think the only reason he was able to before was because i had a few potted plants near the bed and he was climbing on them... I relised about his tounge after i posted the photo....He knows its all because of him...cheeky...

I am very curious about this, although i agree with it...If i forget to water a plant that is full of pods and it wilts etc etc etc....I notice dropped pods. Is there a fine line between stressed plants (pod drop) and stressed but still happy plants...
