My new seedlings. I killed one of the Morugas by forgetting to water, but no worries; I only plan on growing out one of them anyway. V Some jolokia pods. Most of them are affected by some sort of fungal problem or something, which seems to have been caused by staying wet almost continuously...

My rain dance seems to be working.

I wish summer peaked at 80 and winter low was 50.

Could the top right one be a datil? EDIT -Sorry, just realized this was last year. I will punish myself severely.

Purple Jalapeno? EDIT- that makes no sense with the upward facing peppers.

The Italian dudes are probably using some sort of hydroponics setup, like putting the ball in a DWC bucket.....I'm gonna have to try this contest next year.

+1 for 150 Hps. More lumens than 150 watts of fluorescent and your plants will probably require less 'hardening off' when you move them outside. Only downsides are cost and if you want to upgrade you have to buy a more powerful ballast.

More germination, no problems so far... V ^ Count is now 2x each: tabasco, datil, NuMex Twilight, and Moruga scorpion. As you can see above, I've also got a 600HPS bulb again. My jolokia is now 3ft 9in and resides in a 20 gallon tub. The 5 gal wasn't enough to keep its thirst sated. V

I go back and forth between both plants that need hand pollination. Not sure if it would work with just one or not. I do this about once a week with each flower. They get lots of pods this way. I have a couple of giant okras that all the japanese beetles attack instead of my peppers, and I pick...

If they have blssoms, but not pods, have you tried hand-pollenating with a paintbrush? I have 2 plants that need it for some reason (outdoors), even though they get bee visits.
