Kellogs is fine if you pick their organic compost. I don't know what you have available but just read the labels, look composts with cultures in them. Then I'd make a simple aact by stirring a couple handfuls of compost in a bucket of water and stirring it again several times for a few days and...

I'm with Rich on these next season. I want to try to grow it tall too just for funs and log it in my glog. I'm eager to participate in the next one. Everyone grew great plants, surprised to see all the bushes. Peppers can be vigorous when they feel like it :D

Not to overwinter it, but I had to strip a couple plants down to branches because of aphids and they're bushier than ever now. I too say you can win. I've been surprised by it, but my AACT brew keeps aphid populations down and you can spray it much more often than any poison.

I just ordered 75 3 gal fabric pots for the price I'd pay to make em. I'll let you know how they do Coach. Going to have some 5 gallon bucket grows from the same seedstock to compare plantsize at the end of the season too.
