Indeed more of a deterent. I found it helped when I had a few aphids about, too. But it wasn't what I would call an infestation. I didn't know rice hulls were a good source of silica, but I do like a good Weizen! So, that's good to know!! All the best for your grow, I look forward to seeing it...

That's an amazing list, CAPCOM. Can't wait to see all this chocolate goodness! I like rockwool but I've had the same problems. If I use the centre hole I just rough it up and pack it down a bit so it's concave. Less of a journey for the seedlings.

If it's the same as PVP (USA) and PBR (Australia) then generally yes. Someone confirm this but you can not -without consent- use the name, or sell your harvest. The specifics may change from plant to plant.

Must admit, I haven't tried this for a good few years but I do recall despising it. Maybe I should give it another go.

I start multiples in rockwool and remove them sometimes if I'm not sure on the freshness of the seeds or am simply being lazy. Pretty easy to pull apart when dryish. I lose about 1/10

I'd have thought that the time taken for the graft to set would completely out-weigh any benefit (if there is any) of having two root systems. Particularly if the plant is grown as an annual. But that's just my hunch.

Yes it certainly has, I'm on the surf Coast in Victoria, weather has been so up and down. Rather frustrating.
