sad to say i agree with the neighbors/kids in the neighborhood idea. My next door neighbor (whom we have a great relationship with.. and her two kids) was surprised as hell that her 13 year old went into our garden picked a lot of our tomatoes and hurled them at our respective back neighbors...

so i got plants from them as well.. going to call/email the tomorrow about the aphids i found on the Annums.. i thought maybe that they only had a problem with the Annums.. but i remember seeing you had Chinense that are infected.. we got to let them know... i have a similar issue with my annum's this year.. but way earlier. top leafs are curling up.. and they re 3rd leaf sprouts.. so i feel your pain. Chinense are fine.. weird.

my first year growing the rocotos.. ( me thinks they are Manzano red, we'll find out in a few months).. they look great!

because of my growing season.. my first attempts at peppers years ago was an early jalapeno.. they came out great. ( that year we couldn't even get things in the ground until june.

My wife and i grew strawberries last year in it... plants were small so we didn't damage the roots putting them in the bags.. they grew.. had a strawberry apiece.. and then kicked the bucket. I think that for Peppers it might be hard to regulate the water intake if your in a rainy area unless...
