I have just bought myself a wireless thermometer....which comprises of a unit which sits indoors, and a remote unit that lives outdoors and *should* give a correct display of both indoor and outdoor temperature. But i have found that no matter where i have tried placing the outdoor sensor, it...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

To be fair, next year i will probably see things a lot differently :) But my only experience so far was when i re-potted my lifeless and dying plants from my 'el cheapo' brand into Osmocote...and it saved my whole grow!! So currently i feel i am in debt to it....lol I can understand that people...

Nee's first pepper season. (Australia) Pics, vids & banter.. yey! \\(^o^)//

Well, the weather here is starting to get a bit more consistent lately, and i've had a load of pods ripening daily....although most are still on the small side, but each 'wave' seems to be growing in size, so i'm keeping my fingers crossed that by next month they should be of a decent size. I'm...

overwintering Winter-Summer in OZ "Comparison" / Aussie Blabberers

Hi guys....just wondering what damage thrips do to chilli plants as there's shed loads in our garden at the moment. Also I spotted a tiny praying mantis on one of my plants....are these a keeper or should I move it elsewhere? Thanks :)

Adding sliced pods to normal red sauce!

I was wondering if anyone can advise me on this? A lot of everyday food i eat, i like to add a heap of normal bog standard red sauce to, and then mix in a bit of my favourite hot sauce to give it some zing.. So, seeing as though i have a load of tiny pods ripen recently, i decided to get a...

    My Tropical Death Sauce

Oh, ok.... That's a shame. It sounds great! I was kinda hoping that the hot sauce recipe might contain the exact recipe on how to make the hot sauce mentioned! I'm hoping that if you do get into production, that you can remember the recipe!

    What make is your camera?

I have yet to see any post in reference to hot peppers that asks anything about cars, yet i see a lot of posts (mainly in the glogs section) asking regarding what camera the user was using to achieve good shots of their hot peppers. I'm struggling to see the comparison to be fair....

    What make is your camera?

I will still maintain that Mezo's original idea was a beaut... I was just reading a thread only 30 mins ago where someone yet again asked what camera the user was using to get the great shots of their pods.

Nee's first pepper season. (Australia) Pics, vids & banter.. yey! \\(^o^)//

Well, thankfully my plants survived the freakish winds we had here late last night.....it was absolutely HOWLING here!!! But thankfully my plants have 'manned up' now and seem to cope ok with the wind. It was pretty windy again all day again today, but all is well :) I had another score on...

Mezo`s "super hots" Glog including the 'big' solar dehydrator.

Meeez...i'm so pleased that you managed to salvage a lot of your plants....i was half expecting to read that the only one that made it was your "7 pot brown"... ;) Sorry to hear about the other stuff that's trashed though, and hoping the sheep keep away for you too. Sending positivity from...

Nee's first pepper season. (Australia) Pics, vids & banter.. yey! \\(^o^)//

Funny (or not so funny!?) you should say that FanMan! I got home from work today and looked out the back window and noticed that the wind had blown over our sons basketball hoop...which is pretty heavy. Plus it had also managed to blow our heavy-ish barbecue around 45 degrees.....so i was...
